| So everyone always says that you need to break in a clutch for at least a few hundred miles. Everyone I know does it, but I've never actually known how important it really is. I was talking with a guy who owns a trucking company, and he laughed in my face when I mentioned breaking in the clutch on my car. He said they just put new clutches in the trucks and drive them as always w/ no problems... and that this is the same for any car as well. Basically I'm looking for proof that not breaking in a clutch will have a negative effect on either its performance or lifespan.
